DescriptionWomen's ivory cotton blouse with 8 mother-of-pearl buttons and hand-made lace. The blouse has a high collar, long sleeves with a ruffled cuff and a ruffled, hand-embroidered bottom. The blouse is both machined and hand-stitched. It was worn by Rachel Boall (nee Seligman) originally from Janusik, Lithuania. She immigrated to South Africa around 1900.
