DescriptionPartial sheet of purple food coupons for Reserve items (9 reserve coupons remaining), in Dutch, used in the Netherlands during WWII. These coupons represent the last page in a book of coupons that also included 3 sheets for meat and 8 sheets for bread (1 coupon from each of those 11 sheet remains in the book). Each sheet originally contained 15 coupons, numbered 1-15. The coupons in this book were valid from 29 December 1941 to 21 March 1942 and have the words "Nederland Distributie" repeated in the background. These food coupons belonged to the Frumau family, Dutch Catholics who lived in Dordrecht, Netherlands. The Frumau family helped Jews in South Holland during the war.
