DescriptionZwei (two) Kronen banknote issued for use by the Jews in Theresienstadt Ghetto during World War II. This note, serial no. A010, was issued 1943-01-01 and is pink and white with the Star of David above the denomination on one side and an oval vignette illustration of Moses holding up the Ten Commandments on the other. It warns against counterfeiting, promising punishment for such an act. Theresienstadt was a Jewish ghetto from 1941 through the end of the war.
