DescriptionB/W photographic postcard showing Bergen-Belsen concentration camp after its liberation on April 15, 1945. This image shows former concentration camp guards standing in line in front of a truck containing bodies (Dr Fritz Klein is third from the right). The bodies of the dead at Bergen-Belsen were buried between April 18 and 28, 1945. Initially, the former guards were made to bury the dead, but bulldozers were eventually required to complete the massive task.
