Baum and indicates that he worked in a furrier. The card is marked O.H.M.S. (On His Majesty's Service) and Post Free. Heinz Baum was born in Berlin on 21 August 1913. It is uncertain when he came to Australia. He enlisted in the Australian Army on 20 April 1942 and served in 21 Works Company in Australia. He was discharged on 30 October 1945.
