DescriptionRussian silver charity box, hallmarks of Moscow dating it to 1896-1908. Small thimble shaped box with a slot in the lid. The lid is on a hinge and clasp at front could accommodate a small lock. The embellishment is Art Nouveau, asymmetrically engraved with floral decoration, typically Russian of that period. Markings: "B.b.".
