DescriptionTin box painted black on the outside and blue on the inside originally belonging to the Australia Jewish Welfare Society (now Jewish Care). There are handles on each side and the box was lockable but there is no longer a key. Inscription on top: "MUTUAL-FARMS PTY LTD" refers to a company created to facilitate the intake of refugees. The box is also connected with Walter Levi BRAND (1896-1964), a prominent Jewish Welfare worker. He kept his personal memorabilia and important historical material pertaining to Jewish Welfare e.g. photographs in it.
