DescriptionThis is the pay book of Moss De Costa who enlisted in the British Army on the 2nd March 1944, De Costa was conscripted into the British Territorial Army and served as a Driver until his service was completed in September 1946. De Costa served in occupied Germany until the end of his service. The pay book is in very poor condition and has fallen apart, also within the book there are a number loose paper orders. Part A is the book, part B is the four identical receipts listing De Costa’s service number, name and religion, part C is the page of security directives, part D is his transfer to the army reserve in 1947.
