DescriptionThis is a photo of Rabbi Falk in his World War I uniform, the Jewish chaplains insignia is clearly visible on his collar. Whilst the shoulder insignia indicate that he is a captain in the Army (it should however be noted that while he served in World War I as a chaplain he was not yet considered to be a Rabbi, it was not until 1938-1939 when he received his Rabbinical certificate from Palestine).
