DescriptionThis is a personnel letter from Hal Ian Comer Dent to his mother and father stating that he has been transferred from the 461st Squadron RAAF to another squadron. The Squadron to which he moved was bombing occupied Europe which he himself admits is very dangerous with every chance that he will not return. Unfortunately Hal Dent was Killed on 21st January 1943. The letter also acts as a farewell letter incase he is killed. (See notes for details). The letter is two pages long with writing on both sides of the paper.
