This prayer sheet includes the word "Toulouse" and the date "15 Dec 1941" which coincides with the festival of light, Channukah.
Rabbi Kapelovitz (Kapel) was the 'Aumonier des camps' - chaplain and welfare officer of all reception centres and camps of internment of south/west France from August 1940 to December 1942. In 1941 there was an internment camp in Recebedou, a suburb of Toulouse.
