DescriptionSepia toned photo of a road, in pencil on back "Types of road we have transported on, only without the trees" - World War I period. Sent by the donor's late father to her late mother before the were married. Her father was a quarter master sergeant in the British Army. He was wounded twice. He was in charge of the camel train supplies. They migrated to Australia in 1926-1927.
