DescriptionBlack and white photograph of three girls dated 1940 - Malka (Maryla) Einhorn, Cesia Dranger and Inusia Tobias (left to right). Cesia Dranger, at age 13, joined the Hashomer Hazair organisation, which organised resistance against the Gestapo. She and the rest of the group were caught and shot. Cousins, Ina (Inusia) and Malka were murdered in Belzec extermination camp, Rosh Hashana 1942, after being first deported from Krakow to the Brzesko Ghetto, with Stefan Einhorn’s parents and his sister Cesia Tobias (mother of Inusia). Malka was 7 and Inusia 6 1/2.
