DescriptionSix handmade two-dimensional metal chess pieces, attached to cardboard together with a hat pin. The buttons take the form of chess pieces - representing the Pawn, Bishop, Knight (horse), Rook (castle), Queen and King. These items were most likely made by Trude Baumann who was transported to Theresienstadt in 1942. Two years later she was transported to Auschwitz and then Oederan. Later she was on a death march back to Theresienstadt.
