DescriptionB & W photograph of the march of survivors through the streets of Linz. Donated by Dr. Zenon Reiner who was interned during the war. After liberation he used his medical expertise to help the survivors. He met Simon Wiesenthal soon after he was liberated (at the time he was Chief Medical officer of D.P. camp in Linz). Together they collected the ashes from all concentration camps in Austria and put them in 30 urns representing the ashes of 200,000. There was a march of all liberated Jews through the streets of Linz which he took part in. Later, Wiesenthal delivered the ashes to Mount Zion.
