DescriptionB & W photo of a Rabbi who consecrated the urns. Donated by Dr. Zenon Reiner, who after liberation, used his medical expertise to help survivors. He met Simon Wiesenthal soon after he was liberated (at the time he was Chief Medical officer of D.P. camp in Linz). Together they collected the ashes from concentration camps in Austria and put them in 30 urns representing the ashes of 200,000. There was a march of all liberated Jews through the streets of Linz and Wiesenthal gave a moving speech from the spot were Hitler once marked Austria as part of the German Reich.
