DescriptionNorwegian underground newspaper called ‘Kongespeilet’ (Kings Mirror), August 1944. During the war Torma Tryg was living in Arendal and was part of the Norwegian Resistance, working with a group of people who collected official news from London, typed up, mass produced and distributed newsheets such as this one to “keep up morale”. It was dangerous work, as to be caught with newssheets you could be arrested, even executed. They would go out in the middle of the night to put the ‘Kongespeilet’ in letter boxes.
