Collection pertaining to Marianne Wechsler, nee Korn, born 5.1.1912 in Vienna, migrating from Austria to Belgium in December 1938; from there to England in February 1939, then granted visa to Cuba – to France – Marseille & Bilbao – Havanna in 1941. Whilst she managed to migrate to England in 1939, her husband was unable to join her and so Marianne later returned to Marseille where together, they sought migration avenues elsewehere.
