DescriptionHard cover edition of "Mein Kampf" (My Struggle), the autobiographical manifesto by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, in which he outlines his political ideology and future plans for Germany. Published in Munchen 1942, this copy was given as a wedding gift, with an inscription to the newly weds. "To the newly wed couple, Bekker and ten Damme, With best wishes for a happy and blessed marriage. Given on 29 May 1943 by Seyss Inquart, Reichs Commissar of the Occupied Dutch Territories." It is a notorious document which in the words of the donor is the "blue print" for the Holocaust.
