A rare, relevant document showing that the Stapoleitstelle Wien – the Gestapo HQ in Vienna - had instructed the KZ Buchenwald on 16 Feburary 1939 to discharge the inmate and to send him back to Vienna (from where he embarked on his journey into exile in Shanghai).
