DescriptionQuestionnaire completed by Yoram Gross to prepare for an interview regarding his life. The questionnaire included prompts regarding early childhood, experiences with Judaism, war time experiences and post war life.
Yoram Jerzy Gross (1926-2015) was a Polish Jew. After the Holocaust, Yoram moved to Israel where he began a carrer in filmmaking. Upon moving to Australia, he is most well known for establishing Yoram Gross Studios. During this time, he adapted films and televisions shows from popular Australian children's book including Dot and the Kangaroo and Blinky Bill.
This interview was part of a research project conducted by Ruth Wirth researching the impact of the Holocaust on orphaned teenage survivors as well as Jewish traditions and practices. During this project, participants were asked to fill out a questionnaire before a reference audio interview was recorded with transcript.
