The Transcending Trauma Project (TTP) examines survivors' words about their war experiences and then compared them to their descriptiions of coping in their later lives. Shows how they endured the war and that the mechanisms that they used during the war continued to function as they aged. Possible explanations for the relationships among the coping style are presented
