The reports of the killing squads that followed the German army into the Soviet Union after the June 1941 invasion were submitted to the RSHA (Reichssicherheitshauptamt, or Central Office for Reich Security). The documents reproduced here, which recite the dates and locations of actions against Jews and give the number of victims, clearly demonstrate the murderous intent of Einsatzgruppen actions
