    ОписаниеBronze tri-service (navy, army and air force) badge with combined anchor, rising sun and wings surmounted by a King's crown. Underneath is a boomerang with the words 'Returned from Active Service". The reverse is impressed with the year 1945 and the serial number 7750. Issued by the Commonwealth Government, the purpose of this badge was to enable individuals to display their involvement in warlike service while in civilian attire. This badge belonged to Australian Jewish serviceman Alfred Davis who was a wireless translator and intelligence officer in WWII, primarily serving in the Philippines.
