Examines healthcare services for Jewish children in the American Zone of occupation in Germany from 1945-1949. When the war ended there remained approximately 150,000 Jewish children in Europe, excluding the Soviet Union. This article focuses on the physical rehabilitation of Jewish children in the DP camps in the American Zone of occupied Germany.
