Retraces the creation of the title of "Righteous among the Nations" in Israel in the 1950s, to honour those non-Jews who saved Jews by risking their lives. Whereas this title was created by Israel as a foreign policy tool, today it is perceived by most governments and organisations that use it as a domestic policy tool, particularly in the management of inter-ethnic relations
