ОписаниеPostcard, in German, from Hela Hofmann in Arbeitslager Birkenau (labour camp adjoining Auschwitz), Poland, to a non-Jew in Prague, Leopold Roubicek. Postmarked 14 April 1944.

The writer states that she is in good health and reminds the receiver to think of her and Jiricek (born 22.2.1933). She also sends her greetings to Edit, uncle Balvin and Maceska. The front of the postcard features a rubber stamp that states, "Return mail is permitted only on postcards and in German language, and must be directed via the Reich Organisation for Jews in Germany based in Berlin". The address the postcards should be sent to marks the location of a Jewish Hospital in Berlin. The hospital was converted to a ghetto and collection camp for transporting Jews from Berlin to concentration camps in the 1940s.

"Our most dear ones, We are all healthy, think of me and Jiricek (22.2.1933) very often. Greetings to our dear Edit, she should think of us as often as possible. Please also greet Uncle Balvin and Maceska. 1000 Greetings and Kisses from all of us."
