ОписаниеGerman (Deutsches Reich) passport Nr. 1281/39, issued to Alfred Israel Meyer dated 19 January 1939, Frankfurt (Main). The passport photograph was taken after Alfred was released from Buchenwald - hence the shaven head. The contents of the passport indicate that he was issued the passport by the Nazi Regime in 1939, obtained a visa for the U.K. (from the British Consul-General at Frankfurt am Main) for a 12 month visit and, and later in London, obtained a visa for the U.S.A dated 6 November 1940.
