ОписаниеTwo page handwritten letter dated 25 September 1941, addressed to Lewis Jonas’ sister Katie and family. Lewis apologises for delaying the letter as he was in Singapore for the New Year with other Jewish soldiers. The fares to Singapore were paid for by the Returned Jewish Soldiers Association of Australia, and they had accommodation provided for them by the people of Singapore. He wishes his family a Happy New year and well over the fast. He says that he is going to Singapore for the fast and that he will let them know how he gets on.
