    ОписаниеBrown coloured booklet (army book 64), issued to Sali Fuks. This book contains details of the soldier, particulars of his training and record of payments - issued to all service personal in the British services.

    The donor is the widow of Hersch Fuks, uncle of Sali Fuks. Sali Fuks was born in Poland in 1920. He escaped from nazi Europe to England and joined the British Army, first pioneer corps the parachute regiment. Sadly, his plane was shot down over Germany and he was presumed killed in action on 24 march 1945. In the army he was given the name of John Fairbanks to prevent possible reprisal by Germans in the event of capture.
