ОписаниеFifty Pfennig (1/2 a Reichs Mark) note to be used at the Standort-Kantine, in the Buchenwald concentration camp. This note is printed on cream paper with green decorative underprinting, serial no. 3983. It has "Aussenkommando", meaning outside unit, printed diagonally across it and is stamped with "SS-Ko. Rottleberode" (the specific sub-camp). These "Aussenkommando" coupons were "paid" to prisoners working outside the camp and were redeemable back at the canteen.
