They also assisted in the hiding of Jews. This citation certificate sent on behalf of the President of USA, Dwight D Eisenhower, thanks G. Bonnema for his gallant service in assisting the escape of Allied soldiers from the enemy. It is signed Dwight Eisenhower, General of the Army.
