ОписаниеThis is a black and white photograph of the Victorian Scout display at the Bradfield Jamboree. The Scouts are marching together in shorts and sleeveless shirts carrying wooden flag poles with flags attached to some poles. A Scout Troop Leader is standing to the side of the marching group in uniform observing the display. Four members of the spectating crowd are visible at the bottom of the photograph. An Australasian Scout Jamboree was held at Bradfield Park on an old race course previously known as Cook’s Flat between December 1938 and January 1939. The Jamboree attracted Scouts from all over the world. Following the Jamboree, the site became a training depot for the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II.
