ОписаниеDocument, in English, dated June 1945, issued by the Mayor of Rentzschmule, Vogtland, to Ruth Grynberg (married name Ruth Galler). The document indicates that Ruth, born 28 February 1925 in Lodz, was liberated from Flossenburg concentration camp (Labour-station Mehltheuer, Vogtland, Plauen) on 16 April 1945 by American troops. All officials and offices are ordered to protect and to help her. It is signed and stamped and has additional stamps and notation on the reverse indicating that Ruth is to get extra food rations. This document is the English version of M2008/031:001, which is in German. These documents were issued to Ruth upon liberation. Prior to Flossenburg, Ruth had been in Litzmannstadt Ghetto (Lodz) and Birkenau. She married in 1949 in Paris and immigrated to Australia with her husband in 1950.
