    ОписаниеPhoto of Grete Albera’s father Isidore Pollak at a construction site. He is the man on the far right of the photo. Isadore was a civil engineer and held a position at with the state railway. He was involved with designing and cutting tunnels through a section of the Alps called the Selzthal. He also worked on the rail bridge over the Danube at Steireck. It is unknown at which site this photograph was taken.

    Isidor was very active in the Jewish community. He was incarcerated after Kristallnach and then released. He was subsequently deported along with his wife to Theresienstadt. He is listed amongst the names at Yad Vashem as perishing in the Terezin ghetto on 16 may 1944 and his wife Erna on 9 April 1944.
