German The Post Office announces the following: Until April 1943, it was forbidden to receive any parcels. Therefore Parcels were returned, but later handled by Post Office Prague 16 and Prague 7. There is a possibility that a parcel was somehow delivered as a "little Parcel" which often happened because the parcel weighed 1 kilo, and during transport, the delivery number fell off. All post deliveries will be received by the authorised Jew, Moritz Kohn on behalf of the Ghetto mail at the Bauschowitz Post Office on the handing over of delivery slips or bulk slips and signed by the Jew, Moritz Kohn. All the mail will then be transported by trucks into the ghetto where, after censorship, the mail will be left to the Ghetto Administration for further delivery. The Jewish Self Administration Department of Post and Transport is to advise of the deliveries by special "avisos" to the Jewish inmates of the Jewish settlement. This procedure is supervised by the SS Lagerkommander Theresienstadt. Complaints between the Department Head and Ghetto Post will be regulated by the agency of the Jew, Moritz Kohn. In this case, even if the delivery was handed in as a "little parcel", a receipt by the receiver can't be obtained as the addressee is no longer in the Jewish settlement, Theresienstadt, by was already sent to another camp, possibly to Riga or Litzmannstadt. The Post Office cannot do any more in this case. 28.6.1943 Head of Department
