Argues that counter-culture critics attack the apocalyptic character of our age while at the same time praising its promise, and calls attention to the dimension of Messianic change in our epoc. We must not allow the signs to go unheeded. Instead a new and radically conceived Messianic 'path' must be constructed which could lead humanity back to its original wholeness
