This page an illustration by Marcuse titled “Light Cavalry of the Sea: Motor Torpedo-Boat.” These drawings describe the new motor torpedo boats added to the British navy. Marcuse’s signature appears on this page on the lower left corner. Ernst Marcuse (1900-1985) was a commercial artist and illustrator who came to Australia in 1939. He produced many war illustrations for The Argus Newspaper and joined the Australian Army where he produced many visual aid material for training and illustrating for Army publications.
