ОписаниеAlbum containing photographs of the Synagogue in Subotica, Yugoslavia from the early 20th century to more recent photos taken when Holocaust survivors Helen and Shlomo Weinstein visited their home-town in 1983. The album features photos of the original stained glass window - fragments of which were picked up by the Weinsteins and made into a memorial (see M2011.018.001 & 002). The synagogue was built in 1901-1902 in the Art Nouveau style by architects Jakab Dezso and Marcel Komor. Many of the images come from the Institute for the protection of cultural monuments in Subotica.
