ОписаниеWhen inmates collected a parcel from the camp post office they were handed a pre-printed thank you card, which had to be signed and forwarded to the sender of the parcel. The printed German text reads, “I thankfully confirm the receipt of your package. A letter follows.” This proved to the outside world that inmates were still alive and perpetuated the illusion that conditions in the camp were adequate.
