A look at US anti-Semitism, late 1990s. A distinction is drawn between attitudinal anti-Semitism on the one hand - what people think - and behavioural anti-Semitism - what people do - on the other. The perceived decline in American anti-Semitism during the latter half of the twentieth century is attributed to the rise of a younger, better educated, more affluent Gentile generation.
