    DescripciónThis is an Enquiry Concerning Missing Persons on a form from the Search Bureau Control Commission for Germany (Bunde, B.A.O.R). The missing persons are Gertrud and Julius van Cleef of German Jewish origin. Their last known address is Maria Louisenstrasse, Hamburg. They were deported from Hamburg in 1941. The enquiry was made by the American Joint Distribution Committee on behalf of Mrs Else Sussmann (sister) in London. Other information provided: "A friend of theirs may know more: Mr Rudolf Luetgert, homoeopath, Landwehr 27 (?) Hamburg."

    On the reverse side dated Hamburg, 24 October 1945, it is indicated from a police report that both were deported on 8 November 1941 to Minsk. Not returned. House 27 Landwehr destroyed.
