This paper considers how the work of two filmmakers, Chantal Ackerman (Dis-Moi and No Home Movie) and Claude Lanzmann (Shoah) explore other possibilities of recording testimony in domestic space, possibilities which respond to that space's lived-in-nature and render visible those moments that often elude the camera.
