Description
In 2008 a project called Hagibor was initiated. The building was first used as a nursing home in 1911. The main purpose of the Hagibor Social Facility in Prague is to provide a wide range of social services for local Shoah survivors. In 1989 when restitution programs started, Hagibor became part of a plan to build a new project for the community's Jewish elderly. While many of Prague's Jews moved to Israel after the war, some came back and are clients of Hagibor today
