By January 1943 it was clear that the enemy was intending to annihilate all the Jews. Dr Zeidman, a member of Agudath Israel, describes the gloomy situation in the ghetto and the attempts to escape with the aid of foreign passports.This article expands upon Zeidman's report based on letters that were sent from the Warsaw ghetto between March 1943 and April and sent to Agudath Israel rescue activists in Switzerland
