Description

Among those who found refuge in Melbourne were a small number of children who came under organised schemes - the Welfare Guardian Society and the Save the Children Fund. Some of the Kindertransport children also later migrated to Australia from Britain. Their testimonies are documented at the Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre - they were highly traumatised by their experiences
