Description

As the supervisor of Jewish cultural life and as a central figure in the 'Reichskulturkammer', Hinkel had become one of the Propaganda Minstry's most powerful officials. Hinkel purged German cultural life of Jews, but also helped implement a variety of measures aimed at ameliorating poverty and unemployment in cultural occupations
