In the late twenties and early thirties, Ernst Feder, a Jewish journalist in Berlin kept a diary. He had begun during the years of apparent stabilization and continued throughout the years of the rise of Nazism and the collapse of the Republican institutions. Portions of the diary in German are reproduced here.
