Description

Polish Catholics do not look at the Catholic Church's role in promoting antisemitism. The author suggests that this absence of moral self-questioning is a result of local historical experience and of the ways the Holocaust in particular entered the Poles' memory. A new interest in things Jewish may yet lead to serious reflection on the Holocaust
