Description

In the Spring of 1940 the Judenrat of Czestochowa set up an organization called IRU (Inspekcja Rucha Ulicznego - Street Movement Control) which was to regulate movement of Jews in the streets. In April 1941 the IRU was transformed into Jewish Police (Ordnungs-Dienst.)
